Armenian PM: no businessman included in RPA candidates listMarch 21, 2012 - 20:23 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Prime Minister commented on the participation of MP–businessmen in the oncoming parliamentary elections. “We adhere to the candidates list of the Republican Party of Armenia (RPA), which rules out inclusion of entrepreneurs in the parliament. This principle is backed by our decisions,” Tigran Sargsyan said. PM further urged MPs, government representatives and top officials not to use their position for personal business. In this context, he attached special importance to establishment of Committee on Ethics. According to Tigran Sargsyan, the list of 500 members has already been determined to be controlled both by public and Committee on Ethics. He stressed the need for those individuals and their family members to submit a declaration on property to enable following the changes it undergoes during their activity in parliament.
