Advisability of joining the newly formed Eurasian Union is one of the most hotly debated topics in Armenia now. On November 18, Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan, which already had customs union, agreed to set up a Eurasian economic union, modeled on the EU, to remove trade barriers. The new structure supposes strengthening the economic integration of their three nations, with a target date of 2015.
