Talk about Russian-Turkish alliance on Karabakh issue unfounded

PanARMENIAN.Net - The talk about Russian-Turkish alliance on Karabakh issue is unfounded, according to prof. Ruben Safrastyan, director RA NAS Institute of Oriental Studies.

“Russia has strengthened its positions in the region since August 2008. So, it will hardly share leadership with Turkey,” prof. Safrastyan told a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter.

He also emphasized that Russia will not allow deployment of other country or organization’s peacekeeping forces in Karabakh conflict zone, if such are needed.
