Germany has critical attitude towards increase of military expenses in South Caucasus

PanARMENIAN.Net - Germany has a critical attitude towards increase of military expenses in South Caucasus, German Ambassador to Armenia Hans-Jochen Schmidt stressed.

At news conference in Yerevan he expressed concern over recently circulated information on supply of S-300 and PMU2 Favorit missile systems to Azerbaijan.

“Statements made from the position of strength are regarded as wrong and threatening. This is the reason why Armenia and Azerbaijan were offered to sign the conventional armaments agreement, with Yerevan consenting. Baku, however, resented the offer citing Karabakh conflict,” the Ambassador pointed out.
