Latvia attaches importance to boosting cooperation with Armenia

PanARMENIAN.Net - On December 14, Latvian Ambassador to Armenia Gints Apals (residence in Vienna) handed over copies of his credentials to Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian.

During the meeting, Mr. Nalbandian expressed hope that the newly appointed Ambassador will contribute to boosting the Armenian-Latvian cooperation.

Apals noted for his part that Latvia attaches importance to expanding cooperation with Armenia.

The Ambassador said he will spare no efforts for the development of bilateral cooperation between Armenia and Latvia.

The two men also discussed further cooperation between the two countries, Europe-Armenia relations, as well as cooperation within international organizations, the RA MFA press service reported.
