Armenian delegation to protest formation of PACE subcommittee on Karabakh![]() January 13, 2011 - 13:22 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Issues regarding Armenia will not be discussed at the winter session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) opening January 24. “We will take part in the work of the session. As you know, Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu, who will assume chairmanship in the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe, jointly with PACE President Mevlut Cavusoglu will try to take the advantage for restoration of the PACE subcommittee on Nagorno Karabakh,” member of the Armenian delegation to PACE Naira Zohrabyan told a news conference in Yerevan. “Anyway, if they succeed the Armenian delegation will boycott the committee’s activity,” she added. Zohrabyan also said that she has some questions for the Turkish leadership regarding the Nagorno Karabakh and Armenian refugees from Azerbaijan she is going to ask during the speech to be delivered by Turkish President Abdullah Gul. ![]() ![]() Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution.
