Azerbaijan’s attempts to insist on its right to Karabakh are doomed to failure

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian said that Baku’s behavior with respect to foreign citizens’ visit to Artsakh is conditioned by Azerbaijan’s attempt to maintain that Nagorno Karabakh is a part of Azerbaijan’s territory.

Answering a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter’s question, Nalbandian told a press conference that similar behavior of the Azerbaijani authorities, which announce any foreign citizen visiting Nagorno Karabakh persona non grata, will lead to nothing.

“They have visited Karabakh and will continue visiting it, without asking Baku’s permission. Another question arises: why does not Baku give permissions for visiting Nakhichevan? Most likely, the Azerbaijani authorities do not want the entire world to see the destructed Armenian monuments,” noted Nalbandian.
