  CE Commissioner for Human Rights meets Vice Speaker and members of RA NA January 20, 2011 - 09:27 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - On January 19, Vice-Speaker of the RA National Assembly Samvel Nikoyan met with the Council of Europe Commissioner for Human Rights, Mr. Thomas Hammarberg. During the meeting, Nikoyan briefed Hammarberg on the work of the RA parliamentary commission on investigation of the March 1-2, 2008, events. Mr. Hammarberg also met with representatives of the parliamentary groups to discuss the March 1-2, 2008, tragic events, work of media, as well as situation with human rights in the Armenian Armed Forces, the RA NA press service reported. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire.
