  ARFD: Armenia must recognize Karabakh if talks fail  February 22, 2011 - 17:12 AMTPanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia should launch a process of the international recognition of Artsakh independence parallel to settlement talks, according to ARF Dashnaktsutyun Bureau's Hay Dat and Political Affairs Office Director. “We have to take a tougher stance, by refusing to participate in negotiations without Karabakh representatives’ involvement,” Kiro Manoyan said, suggesting creation of a political alliance between Armenia and Karabakh. “Armenia must recognize Karabakh in case negotiations fail, without waiting for the start of a war,” he remarked. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution. President of the Armenian parliament Alen Simonyan met with the Speaker of the Azerbaijani Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova.
