Armenia takes serious steps to facilitate RA-EU visa regime

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia-EU political dialogue is actively developing, according to Armenian National Security Council (NSC) secretary, the head of Armenia-EU interdepartmental committee.

As Arthur Baghdasaryan stated at EU consulting group meeting in Armenia, “the strengthening of Armenia-EU political dialogue is essential in view of signing the Association Agreement.”

Baghdasaryan further stressed the importance of free trade zone creation, which involves a number of reforms, including elimination of bureaucratic impediments, as well as amendments in the customs and tax system of Armenia.

The NSC secretary dwelled on Armenian police reforms to be implemented in current year and endorsement of the National Human Rights program. Serious steps are undertaken to conclude agreement on visa regime facilitation, Baghdasaryan said, NSC press service reported.
