Safaryan named all political forces of Armenia, including ANC, responsible for March 2008 events. He also added that his Facebook statement describing the behavior of ANC leader Levon Ter-Petrossian is only denied by those who weren’t in Ter-Petrossian’s house during tragic events. As Safaryan stressed earlier in his Facebook post, Ter-Petrossian should have foreseen the development of the events at Myasnikyan Square, by either being present in person or dismissing the rally to prevent the tragedy. According to Safaryan, in the morning of March 1, 2008 he informed Ter-Petrossian about the gathering of people at Myasnikyan Square, to which the ex-president replied, “it’s not my people.” ![]() ![]() Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire.
