  Armenian lobby’s methods for Genocide recognition outdated - expert April 22, 2011 - 16:03 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Turkologist Ruben Melkonyan said that the Armenian lobby’s methods used for the Armenian Genocide recognition worldwide campaign are outdated. The Turkish propaganda machine improves its denial policy, while the Armenian side continues using outdated tools, Melkonyan told a press conference in Yerevan. “On the verge of April 24, the Turkish government sends its diplomats to various countries to organize conferences and book presentations, to deny the Armenian Genocide. Besides, various events and campaigns are organized in Turkey on April 24, but I doubt their sincerity,” said Melkonyan. According to him, for example, the campaign of Turkish intelligentsia – “Forgive Us, Armenians” – has become a sort of advertisement for Turkey at the international arena. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire.
