Baku ignores in every possible way the calls on Karabakh conflict peace settlement

PanARMENIAN.Net - During the past two days, three Artsakh servicemen were killed by Azerbaijani snipers on the line of contact between Nagorno Karabakh and Azerbaijan.

The situation established as a result of Azerbaijan's adventurous behavior creates additional tension and has a negative impact on the negotiation process, the press service of the Armenian Foreign Ministry reported.

”Azerbaijan shows in every possible way that it can ignore various countries’ and international organizations’ calls on ceasefire maintenance, withdrawal of snipers, confidence-building and peaceful resolution of the conflict. Similar behavior deserves the strictest condemnation of the international community,” reads a statement of the RA MFA.

On April 29, Azerbaijan continued intensively firing at NKR positions from sniper rifles, killing two servicemen. Another soldier of the NKR Defense army was wounded.

Azerbaijan’s actions along the line of contact between the NKR and Azerbaijani armed forces once again prove that Baku not only violates the ceasefire, but also starts acting more brassily, the press service of the NKR Defense Army reported.

Servicemen of the NKR Defense Army Vazgen Bakhshyan, 19, was wounded in the head as a result of Azerbaijani firing at NKR positions in the south-eastern part of the line of contact between the NKR and Azerbaijani armed forces on April 28. Bakhshyan died on the way to a military hospital.
