Levon Zurabyan: launch of dialogue with authorities proves velvet revolution policy effective

PanARMENIAN.Net - A dialogue with the authorities wasn’t possible while they “held our friends hostage”, Armenian National Congress (ANC) coordinator stated.

As Levon Zurabyan noted at ANC rally, the authorities aimed to use the political prisoners to force ANC into giving up their demands.

“We’ll never agree to turn our freedom and a chance for forming the authorities through elections into a gamble. We’re ready to struggle for the establishment of constitutional order in the country,” Zurabyan stressed.

As he remarked, the launch of a dialogue in the country proves the effectiveness of velvet revolution policy.

The leader of the Republic Party Aram Sargsyan, in turn, stressed that the change of situation in the country was made possible through the efforts of the people and ANC leader.
