Expert: Azeris taught to perceive Armenians as “sworn enemies” since school years

PanARMENIAN.Net - Azeri authorities are taking every effort to describe Armenian nation as a “sworn enemy”, according to Turkish studies expert.

As Varuzhan Geghamyan told a news conference in Yerevan, the negative perception of Armenians is being formed with Azeri children since their school years, with Armenians described as aggressors in Azerbaijani history schoolbooks.

Dwelling on the negative report of European Commission against Racism and Intolerance (ECRI) on Azerbaijan, the expert noted that over the years, ECRI reports on the country haven’t changed much.
