Victor Krivopuskov: Russian language never prevented development of Armenian culture

PanARMENIAN.Net - Russian language has never prevented the development of the Armenian culture, Victor Krivopuskov , advisor to the Embassy of Russia in Armenia and the Head of Federal Agency for CIS Affairs, compatriots living abroad and international humanitarian cooperation told a press conference in Yerevan.



According to him, the Russian language has always been demanded language in Armenia. "70 per cent of Armenian parents want their children speak the Russian language", Victor Krivopuskov - said.



He also stressed, regarding the translations from foreign languages to Armenian no language can be compared with the Russian language in the number of Armenian translations.



"Over the past 4 years we have conducted more than 100 translations of Armenian authors," Victor Krivopuskov said.
