Vahan Hovhannisyan: cultural genocide-inflicted damage is irreparable

PanARMENIAN.Net - The damage inflicted on Armenian nation as result of cultural genocide is irreparable, according to ARF Dashnaktsutyun parliamentary group leader Vahan Hovhannisyan.

“Lost property could be compensated, yet the damage inflicted as a result of cultural heritage destruction can't be repaired,” he stated during Cultural Genocide international conference in Yerevan on April 20.

Dwelling on current Armenia-Turkey rapprochement, Mr. Hovhannisyan said that Turkey's only goal in the process is to generate discord between Armenia and Diaspora.
