Zaruhi Petrosyan: air temperature in Yerevan won't exceed 40C in summer

PanARMENIAN.Net - The air temperature in Yerevan will not exceed 37,7C on July 8, said Zaruhi Petrosyan, representative of the Armenian meteorological service.

“The hottest days in July will be the 10th and 11th, when the temperature will reach 40C.,” she told journalists.

The air temperature in Yerevan won't exceed 40C in summer. After July 11, the temperature will gradually lower, with possible precipitation.

“The high air temperature in Armenia is conditioned by southern airflows from Arab Emirate and nearby countries,” she said, adding that the water temperature in Lake Sevan will reach 22C.
