Valdis Pelsh included in blacklist of AzerbaijanSeptember 8, 2010 - 19:24 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - President of Karot international festival Metso Igityan said that Azerbaijani media quoted country’s Foreign Ministry Spokesman Elhan Polukhov as saying that famous Russian showman Valdis Pelsh is included in the country’s blacklist and his entry into the country is forbidden, following the showman’s participation in a concert as part of Karot festival in Artsakh. Besides, they became witnesses of how Azerbaijanis fired at Movses village in Artsakh, Igityan told a press conference on September 8. “We were in Artsakh on September 7 and heard shots from the Azerbaijani positions. Local residents told us that Azerbaijanis fired at the village also the day before it,” noted Metso Igityan. Karot festival is held for the first time in Armenia and Artsakh. Its opening ceremony was held on September 2 and was dedicated to Independence Day of the Republic of Artsakh.
