Region and World magazine presented in YerevanOctober 12, 2010 - 14:19 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - On October 12, 2010, Yerevan hosted a presentation of the first issue of Region and World magazine. It is published for specialists of the South Caucasus, as well as those, who are interested in the region. The magazine aims to raise awareness of the South Caucasus, to expand intellectual frames of its perception and to develop information-analytical knowledge of regional processes by expert, academic, political and economic communities, as well as people residing in the South Caucasus. “The magazine’s name speaks for its content,” editor-in-chief Hovhannes Asryan said. According to him, both local and foreign specialists worked on the magazine. Asryan expressed hope that the next issue will be published in several months. He added that the Institute of Political Researches reached an agreement with Russian and Iranian colleagues, thus, they will provide articles for the next issue.
