Armenian Apostolic Church celebrates feast of Birth of St. John the Forerunner

PanARMENIAN.Net - The Armenian Apostolic Church always celebrates the Birth of St. John the Forerunner (the Baptist), the press service of the Ararat Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church reported.

St. John the Forerunner was the son of Zachariah and his wife Elizabeth, a relative of Jesus' mother Mary, and was born roughly six months before Jesus.

St. John the Forerunner was destined to baptize the Savior.
