Samvel Karapetyan: migration from Armenia caused by lack of patriotism

PanARMENIAN.Net - The upsurge of migration from Armenia is caused not only by social and economic problems but also by lack of patriotism, according to Samvel Karapetyan, head of Research on Armenian Architecture NGO.

“A man can’t be a patriot if he doesn’t know his country and its history,” Karapetyan said.

He also emphasized that there is not enough information and programs aimed to develop patriotism among the youth.

“This is a problem that can’t be resolved through slogans and calls,” he said.
