Bagis is Ankara’s big gun in struggle against Armenian Genocide recognition by U.S.?

PanARMENIAN.Net - Turkish State Minister and Chief Negotiator for EU Talks Egemen Bagis will leave for Washington on March 19.

According to the Turkish media, the Armenian Genocide recognition by the U.S. Congress will be on the agenda of Bagis’ visit among other matters referring to the U.S.-Turkey relations.

During the visit, Bagis is scheduled to meet with U.S. Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs William Burns, Congressman Dan Burton, Co-Chairs and members of the Congressional Caucus on Turkey.
