Golden Apricot Third International Film Festival Opened in YerevanJuly 10, 2006 - 15:26 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The third International Film Festival Golden Apricot has opened in Yerevan with the digitized version of the first Armenian film "Namus" shot by founder of the Armenian cinema Hamo Bek-Nazarov.The films will be represented in three nominations: fiction films, documentaries and Armenian panorama. Honorary guests of the festival Artavazd Peleshyan, Marco Bellocchio, Moshen Makhmalbaf and outstanding Italian screenwriter Tonino Guerra will be granted awards after Sergey Parajanov for the contribution to the development of world cinematography. To note, well known Armenian film director, member of the European Film Academy Harutyun Khachatryan is the director of the festival.
