At a press conference Platini took a stance on the Azerbaijan-Armenia match in Group A of European championship qualifying. "Azerbaijan-Armenia matches will probably take place in a neutral field", he said. UEFA president stated that he had acquainted himself with the positions of Azerbaijan and Armenia. "We have received proposals by Azerbaijani and Armenian National Associations. The issue will be solved in near future in Geneva", he underscored.
