RA FM familiarized Swiss counterpart with Karabakh conflict settlement process

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Foreign Minister Vartan Oskanian who is on a formal visit in Switzerland met yesterday with Micheline Calmy-Rey, the President of the Swiss Confederation, Head of the Swiss Federal Department of Foreign Affairs, reports the RA MFA press office. The parties discussed bilateral relations and Switzerland's participation in Armenian development programs, including poverty reduction in rural areas. They also referred to the Armenia-Turkey relations and possible developments. Vartan Oskanian briefed to his Swiss counterpart on the process of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict settlement. The Armenian Minister also met with the Armenian community to discuss its possible participation in programs for rural economy development programs.
