Latvia very interested in assisting Armenia on way to Europe

PanARMENIAN.Net - During his visit to Armenia Latvian Foreign Minister Artis Pabriks signed a memorandum on cooperation in different fields, Armenian Foreign Minister Vartan Oskanian stated to a joint press conference with his Latvian counterpart in Yerevan. He said, Latvia is ready to share her experience in European integration. "We singled out a number of programs, where our countries can cooperate in the framework of the European Neighborhood Program. I must underline the meeting was very productive," the RA FM said. Vartan Oskanian also noticed there exist a possibility of cooperation between the both countries in the framework of Armenia-NATO Individual Partnership Action Plan (IPAP) - in military- technical sphere.



In his part Latvian Foreign Minister stressed, his country is ready to provide technical assistant to Armenian in realization of programs in EU framework. "We are very interested in assisting Armenia on the way to Europe - it concerns all spheres of cooperation," he underscored.
