According to the information of those sources, Armenian and Azeri authorities reacted positively to the initiative of Madrid. In case of their agreement, the final word belongs to UEFA President Michel Platini. The sources say that Miguel Angel Moratinos had a telephone conversation with Michel Platini on Wednesday. The latter welcomed Spain's initiative, offering to discuss it on the level of football federations of Armenia and Azerbaijan. National Teams of both countries play in the same group "A" of the selection round of the European Cup 2008. Their first meeting is scheduled for September 8 in Azerbaijan, the return match may be held 4 days later in Armenia, "Radio of Russia" reports.
