  RA Defense Minister: Azerbaijan aware of Armenian army efficiencySeptember 3, 2007 - 18:53 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Efficiency of the Armenian army is high, RA Defense Minister Mikael Harutyunyan said. "If the efficiency decreases Azerbaijan will not fail to launch hostilities. The fact that Azerbaijan hasn't committed aggression so far proves that our army is efficient enough," he said.According to the Minister, Azerbaijan is aware of the Armenian army's capability to defend the borders. "That is why Azerbaijan will not launch military operations. However, in case of necessity the Armenian army will fulfill the tasks set to it," Harutyunyan said, Novosti Armenia reports. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution. President of the Armenian parliament Alen Simonyan met with the Speaker of the Azerbaijani Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova.
