Robert Kocharian to met EU leadership in Belgium

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian President Robert Kocharian will depart for Belgium on a 3-day formal visit October 9, the RA leader's press office reported.



The Armenian delegation will include Vartan Oskanian, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Armen Gevorgyan, the head of the presidential administration, Vardan Khachatryan, the Minister of Finance and Economy, Vigen Chitechyan, the Minister of Trade and Economic Development, Avet Adonts, the chairman of parliamentary committee on European integration issues and other officials.



The Armenian leader will meet with Armand De Decker, the Belgian Senate President, Herman Van Rompuy, the President of the Chamber of Representatives.



Besides, he is expected to meet with Jose Manuel Barroso, the European Commission President, Franco Frattini, EU Commissioner for Justice, Freedom and Security, Javier Solana, the EU Secretary General, Benita Ferrero-Waldner, the EU Commissioner for External Relations, Peter Mandelson, the EU Trade Commissioner and Hans-Gert Pöttering, the European Parliament President.



Mr Kocharian will also hold a meeting with the Armenian community of Belgium.
