Armenian and Lithuanian FMs sign memorandum on cooperationNovember 8, 2007 - 15:18 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Foreign Minister Vartan Oskanian and his Lithuanian counterpart Petras Vaitiekunas met to discuss regional problems, specifically tensions in Georgia.In this respect, Minister Oskanian noted that development of cooperation with the European Union and other European structures, intensification of integration processes will contribute to stability of political system in states of the region and establishment of constructive power-opposition dialogue. He also briefed Mr Vaitiekunas on the latest developments in the Nagorno Karabakh conflict settlement. Upon the outcomes of the visit, a memorandum on cooperation in the process of integration into European structures between Foreign Ministries of Armenia and Lithuania was signed, the RA MFA press office said. ![]() ![]() Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire.
