Armenian people marking Victory Day and Shushi Liberation Day May 9

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia is celebrating Victory Day on May 9. A number of events, specifically laying of wreaths to Yerablur Pantheon and Unknown Soldier's Tomb in Victory Park will be held that day, RA Defense Minister's spokesman, col. Seyran Shahsuvaryan told PanARMENIAN.Net



May 9 is also celebrated as Shushi Liberation Day, NKR Defense Army formation day.



Various cultural and sports events are expected in the NKR capital on this day. A concert in Stepanakert's Renaissance Square will end in fireworks.



The Armenian delegation led by President Serzh Sargsyan will take part in the festivities.
