  Armenia participated in NATO PA sessionMay 29, 2008 - 19:01 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The Armenian parliamentary delegation led by chairman of the standing committee on armament, internal affairs and security Artur Aghabekyan attended the NATO PA spring session in Berlin May 24-27, the RA MFA press office reported.The Armenian delegation and Ambassador Samvel Mkrtchyan to NATO attended the meetings on politics, defense and security. German Chancellor Angela Merkel, Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier, NATO Secretary General Jaap de Hoop Scheffer also addressed the session. The participants discussed the Alliance's new strategy, energy security and the bloc's expansion eastwards. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution. President of the Armenian parliament Alen Simonyan met with the Speaker of the Azerbaijani Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova.
