Switzerland interested in development of cooperation with Armenia

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia and Switzerland are alike. Both countries are small and have no outlet to the sea, said Dominique de Buman, co-chair of Armenia-Switzerland parliamentary friendship group, which was formed after the Swiss National Council recognized the Armenian Genocide in 2004.

"The main goal of our group is to develop a political dialog between Yerevan and Bern," he said stressing the necessity of establishment of the Swiss diplomatic outpost in Armenia.

"The Yerevan meetings originated an idea to form an Armenian-Swiss chamber of commerce that will promote bilateral economic ties. Swiss investors may show interest in tourism, public health and environment protection," he said.
