NATO, Armenia to develop cooperation within IPAPOctober 28, 2008 - 17:36 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - NATO will develop cooperation with Armenia in the framework of the Individual Partnership Action Plan (IPAP), Jaroslaw Skonieczka, director for Euro-Atlantic Integration and Partnership in NATO's International Staff, said during "2 Years of ENP: Progress, Challenges and the Future" international conference today."Many doubted the efficiency of such cooperation, since they thought it can be useful only if the country is an aspirant for the Alliance. However, it's quite different in case with Armenia. This republic doesn't intend to join NATO and it's Russia's strategic partner," he said, adding that two years of IPAP implementation proved that Armenia is willing to achieve the goals envisaged by the Action Plan.
