Hothouse farms need to be developed in ArmeniaApril 14, 2009 - 23:15 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - RA Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan and RA Agriculture Minister Aramais Grigoryan visited Alishan Company in Masis, RA Government Press Service reported. During his visit, Prime Minister was briefed about the company's activities of fruit and vegetables processing, current issues and achievements within the last 7 years. Besides, the Prime Minister familiarized himself with hothouse farm set up in the beginning of the year on the basis of new technologies. Emphasizing the importance of agriculture, the Prime Minister stressed that government-created Situation room is carefully studying the initiatives and offers to promote development of this sphere through Governmental assistance. According to Tigran Sargsyan, the company has a significant experience in hothouse economy and will greatly contribute to Armenian economy in future.
