RA President has great expectations from business circles

PanARMENIAN.Net - The country's development is greatly dependent upon entrepreneurs' work, President Serzh Sargsyan said in his speech during the V session of Armenian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs. "I know that an entrepreneur's concerns are not restricted to his own self. Anyway, I find that right entrpreneurial activity is crucial for further success," the President said. In that connection, Mr. Sargsyan expressed confidence of entrepreneurs' potentials and called on them to be more confident in their further initiatives.

The session, according to the President, is aimed at developing state-business-private sector cooperaion. That will allow us not only to assess the effectiveness of our accomplishments but also to elaborate new trends. "In global crisis circumstances, we are required to find ways out of recovery stage," he said.

In his turn, Vladimir Kolmogorov, Vice President of International Congress of Industrialists and Entreprenuers, emphasized that a priority role in Armenian-Russian friendly relations belonged to cooperation between two countries' Unions of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs.

In that connection, Mr. Kolmogorov noted that the first Russian-Armenian business forum was held in Yerevan in 1997 with the participation of representatives from different states. Later, meetings between Armenian and Russian business circles became permanent, and the Armenian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs joined the International Congress of Industrialists and Entreprenuers. President Sargsyan also stressed the importance of joining efforts towards overcoming global crises consequences and seeking ways for further development.
