Ruben Torosyan demanded to name the second public opinion poll client

PanARMENIAN.Net - At today's meeting RA CEC processed the application filed by ANC representative Ruben Torosyan, specifying that some TV channels did not mention the client's name when reporting Sociometer Research Center poll results. CEC passed a resolution stating that Head of Sociometer Center Aharon Adibekyan did not violate the election codex, based on the fact that Adibekyan submitted the text of his statement where the client was indicated to CEC.







The resolution emphasized that according to point 3, art. 22 of RA Election Codex, sociological centers, have to indicate the client when publicizing poll results. Speaking of Media, covering the election campaign, CEC Chairman Garegin Azaryan referred to CEC regulations, stating that media has a right to determine the volume and contents of material offered.
