  Golden Apricot Festival to launch contest movies screeningJune 6, 2009 - 20:46 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - On July 8 Moscow Movie Theater will launch movie screenings for Armenian journalists within Golden Apricot 6th International Festival framework.Golden Apricot 6th International Festival, due on July 12-19 in Yerevan, consists of 3 main programs - international contest of feature and documentary movies and Armenian panorama contest. This year, the festival will feature around 300 movies from 60 countries.   Top stories The creative crew of the Public TV had chosen 13-year-old Malena as a participant of this year's contest. She called on others to also suspend their accounts over the companies’ failure to tackle hate speech. Penderecki was known for his film scores, including for William Friedkin’s “The Exorcist”, Stanley Kubrick’s “The Shining”.
