Armenia's CEC publishes final results of Yerevan City Council ElectionsJune 8, 2009 - 12:39 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Central Electoral Committee of Armenia (CEC) published final results of the Yerevan City Council Elections. According to the final results of the RA CEC, ruling Republican party collected 186.630 votes, Prosperous Armenia - 89.131, Armenian National Congress - 69.140, "Orinats Erkir" - 20.106, ARF Dashnaktsutyun - 18.094, Peoples' Party of Armenia - 8.479, Working Socialist Party of Armenia - 1.936. 7 per cent bareer has been overcome by RPA, Prosperous Armenia and ANC. Mandates in the Yerevan City Council Elections are distributed the following way: Republican Party of Armenia - 35 mandates, Prosperous Armenia - 17 mandates and, Armenian National Congress - 13 mandates. The final protocol was not signed by the CEC members Zoya Tedevosyan representing the Heritage Party and Hamlet Aramyan from ARFD explaining, that they will not sign under false results of elections.
