Tigran Torosyan: Amnesty did not mitigate internal political crisis in Armenia

PanARMENIAN.Net - "During a year and a half a number of steps were implemented which did not justify themselves, including creation and dismissal of Evidence Collection Group, alterations to criminal legislation. These were only formal steps. Only Temporary Parliamentary Commission is left now, and the society will demand them for explanations on March events," Ex-RA NA Speaker Tigran Torosyan told a news conference today.

He also emphasized that the amnesty was initially flawed and needed correct approaches and principles. According to Torosyan, March events' participants mustn't have been included in a separate point of amnesty resolution, if they were believed to be common criminals.
