Grigory Karasin likely to be appointed as OSCE MG's Russian Co-Chair

PanARMENIAN.Net - Russian FM Grigory Karasin will be very probably appointed as new Co-Chair of OSCE Minsk Group, say sources maintaining close contacts with RF Government. Those sources reported to PanARMENIAN.Net that such appointment is possible within several days' time. "A 'heavyweight' like Karasin is sure to raise Karabakh conflict settlement to a qualitatively new level, enabling parties to avoid hasty decisions and new conflicts in the zone," says the release.

Besides, Moscow observers find that Karasin's possible appointment is also conditioned by recent activeness in Armenian-Turkish relations.
