"The Armenian Ministry of Finance issued 102 licenses for using casino tables while the tax service data shows the figure of 42. The state lays AMD 4 million tax on each casino table. Losses can be calculated. RA state budget annually receives AMD 240 million less than due from casino tables and AMD 61.375 less from slot machines," he said. "As to use of slot machines, about 86% of the gained sum is usually returned in other countries. In Armenia, only 5-10% is returned. The local assembly also arouses doubts. Although main details and foreign-made, the machines are assembled here, in Armenia," Mr. Zakaryan said.
