Ameria CJSC conducts Large Taxpayers survey in ArmeniaOctober 1, 2009 - 17:45 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - America CJSC is contracted by the Ministry of Economy (MOE) to conduct a survey of the large taxpayers in the Republic of Armenia, Ameriabank's press office said.The survey is initiated in the framework of the grant from the Institutional Development Fund of the World Bank given to the Republic of Armenia. It will directly influence the implementation of the main objective of the Grant - to support the Ministry of Economy analytical development by provision of reliable data for Computable General Equilibrium (CGE) model by conducting of Large Tax Payers Survey in Armenia. The Armenian CGE model will be used to analyze the impact of tax policy changes on the Armenian private sector and it will provide a baseline for subsequent analysis of the Armenian economy and economic growth. The project activities will include sampling, design of survey instruments, running interviews, development of data entry and data analysis instruments, development of final analytical report.
