Tigran Balayan explains the reason delayed the signing of the Armenian-Turkish Protocols

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia's Foreign Ministry spokesman Tigran Balayan explained the reason of delay of signing of the Armenian-Turkish Protocols. As a PanARMENIAN.Net correspondent reports from Zurich, after the ceremony Tigran Balayan, noting that a very important step in Armenia-Turkey relations has been made today, welcomed by the international community, said that a temporary delay in the signing ceremony of the Protocols was caused by the attempts of the Turkish side to make changes in the verbal statements, scheduled after the signing. The Armenian side disageed with those changes being of historic nature. Discussions with the mediators and ministers resulted in the signing Protocols without previously announced verbal statements.
