Armenia to develop ties with India

PanARMENIAN.Net - Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandyan has received newly appointed Indian Ambassador Achal Kumar Malhotra who submitted the copies of his credentials to Armenian FM. Congratulating diplomat on his new appointment, Mr. Nalbandyan declared Armenia's intention to develop partnership and friendly ties with India, expressing hope that newly appointed Ambassador would have his contribution to that.



Parties considered possibilities of establishing active political dialogue, boosting trade-economic relations, extending legal framework and deepening cooperation within international organizations.



Upon the guest's request, FM Nalbandyan briefed on recent development in Karabakhh settlement process.

Armenian FM and Indian Ambassador exchanged views on Armenian-Turkish process. Mr. Malhotra expressed support to steps directed to Armenian-Turkish rapprochement, RA MFA press service reports.
