  RA government opposes NKR recognition billNovember 12, 2009 - 12:24 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The government of the Republic of Armenia has again opposed the bill "On recognition of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic.""Recognition of NKR independence is inexpedient at this point in time," said Shavarsh Kocharyan, Armenian Deputy Foreign Minister. The bill was submitted by Heritage party, which supposes that recognition of NKR by Armenia will help engagement of Artsakh in the negotiation process as a full-fledged party. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution. President of the Armenian parliament Alen Simonyan met with the Speaker of the Azerbaijani Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova.
