RA Foreign Minister reiterates about impossibility of Turkey's mediation in Karabakh settlement

PanARMENIAN.Net - Turkey can not be co-chair of the OSCE Minsk Group on Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, Armenia's FM Edward Nalbandian said addressing the Armenian parliament sitting and responding to a question of MP from the ARF Dashnaktsutyun parliamentary faction Hrayr Karapetyan.

"Participation of the Turkish representative in the recent meeting of the OSCE Minsk Group is normal, because Turkey is a member of the OSCE Minsk Group, as other countries. With regard to aspirations of Ankara to become OSCE Co-Chair, this is ruled out, since neither Armenia nor NKR, or the international community will tolerate this, " the foreign minister of Armenia said.

Referring to speculations of Ankara over the connection between the signed Armenian-Turkish Protocols and the Karabakh problem settlement, Edward Nalbandian called such claims natural. "But who will allow these processes to be linked? Nobody. Neither Armenia nor NKR and neither the international community, the latter has repeatedly stated that these processes are not linked to each other, " the Armenian Minister of Foreign Affairs stressed.
