Narekatsi Art Union dates exhibition to Koryun Nikoghosyan's 70th birth anniversary

PanARMENIAN.Net - Narekatsi Art Union will open Thursday an exhibition dedicated to painter Koryun Nikoghosyan's 70th birth anniversary.

The artist's works have been exhibited in different galleries of Armenia, Russia and Denmark. His creative heritage is now displayed in his house museum.

Appreciating the artist's talent, great Armenian painter Martiros Saryan once said, "What astonishes me is that Koryun reached professional success without relevant education or any advice or assistance from local painters. He uses up to-date artistic methods to reflect his thoughts on canvases."

Koryun Nikoghosyan was born in Yerevan in 1939 and died in 1976.
