Armenian and Latvian state universities to establish cooperation

PanARMENIAN.Net - Latvian President Valdis Zatlers, who is in Armenia on a three-day official visit, Thursday had meeting with Yerevan State University (YSU) faculty staff and students. "I hope Latvian President's visit to Armenia will contribute to further cooperation between our countries, as well as state universities," YSU Rector Aram Simonyan said in his welcoming speech.



Highly appreciating YSU's activities, Mr. Zatlers expressed willingness to do his best to deepen cooperation between Armenian and Latvian universities.



During the meeting, Rector Aram Simonyan awarded the guests with university's honor medal.
